IMPORTANT: ONLY SIM Cards purchased from ukprepaidsimcard.com.au can be recharged. If you didn't purchase your SIM Card from ukprepaidsimcard.com.au then the recharge voucher will NOT work when you attempt to redeem it and you will NOT get a refund under any circumstances. For example, if you purchased your SIM Card from Three in the UK, then the recharge voucher will NOT work for you.

INFORMATION ABOUT BUYING A RECHARGE VOUCHER FOR YOUR UK PHONE SIM CARD

You must buy a recharge voucher if:

  1. You're staying longer than 30 days; or
  2. You want to call or text Australian numbers; or
  3. You're in Europe and you've used up all 9GB of your 12GB data allowance, and you want to continue using data.

You do not need to buy a recharge voucher if:

  1. You want to call or text local numbers within the same country in Europe (as this comes from your included minutes and texts).
  2. You want to call or text UK numbers when you're in Europe (as this comes from your included minutes and texts).
  3. You want to call or text other people using our UK Phone SIM Card when you're in Europe (as this comes from your included minutes and texts).

HOW DO I BUY A RECHARGE VOUCHER?

You can buy your recharge voucher at anytime from anywhere in the world. You can buy it when you're in Australia, the UK or in Europe. Or you can get someone else to buy the recharge voucher for you.

Once you receive the recharge voucher number in an email from us you can redeem the recharge voucher at a later date. Your recharge voucher can only be redeemed after you've activated your UK Phone SIM Card.

After you purchase your recharge voucher we'll email you a recharge voucher code (within 24 hours) with instructions on how to redeem the voucher code via your phone or online.

Please allow up to 24 hours for your voucher code to be emailed to you, and please ensure that our email address (info@ukprepaidsimcard.com.au) is set as a safe contact in your email program or alternatively make sure that you check your spam/bulk/junk folder. Do not email or call us to find out where your voucher code is until after 24 hours from when you purchased your recharge voucher.

STAYING LONGER THAN 30 DAYS

If you're staying longer than 30 days, you’ll need to buy a £20 recharge voucher. When you redeem the recharge voucher number we send to you via email, you'll get an additional 30 days (which will start on day 31). This means you'll get another 30 days of 12GB of data (of which you can use 9GB in Europe), 300 minutes and 3,000 texts. The remaining data, minutes and texts from the previous 30 days does not rollover.

You can only recharge for a full 30 days (you can’t just recharge for a few extra days).

CALLING AND TEXTING AUSTRALIAN NUMBERS

If you want to call Australian landline numbers, or call or text Australian mobile numbers, you'll need to buy a recharge voucher. Even if the person with the Australian mobile is with you, it is still an Australian number (an Australian mobile in the UK does not become a UK number - it remains an Australian number).

You can buy a recharge voucher in the following denominations: £10, £20 or £50.

When you're in the UK and you call or text Australian landline or mobile numbers it costs £0.03/min (3p/min) and £0.25/text (25p/text).

When you're in Europe and you call or text Australian landline or mobile numbers it costs £1.40/min and £0.016/text (1.6p/text).

We find that many of our customers choose to use voice and messaging apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, FaceTime etc to call and text to Australian numbers (because apps use data).

ADDITIONAL DATA USAGE IN EUROPE

If you use up 9GB of your 12GB data allowance when you're in Europe, data will stop working. If you want to continue using data it will cost 0.78p/MB (ie £7.80/GB). You can buy a recharge voucher in the following denominations: £10, £20 or £50.
